Blog Prompt: What do you think about when you can't fall asleep?
When I have trouble falling asleep, usually my thoughts are all in a jumble. I start making lists of things I need to do, lists of things I want to do, lists of things I DON'T want to do, lists of things I want other people to do! I guess you get the picture. But if something has upset me earlier in the day, I start having pretend conversations and rehearsing things I want to say. Of course this just makes me even more upset. When I try to force myself not to think of these thoughts, I try to count backwards from 1000. But I usually get sidetracked and find myself going back to the other thoughts. I hate when this happens!

oh, yes, I totally forgot about all those imaginary conversations I have! and they usually never turn out that way in real life. However, that doesn't stop me from having them!
