When I retired from teaching two years ago, our formal dining room became a storage room. When we first moved here, I had special window treatments made for the bow window in this dining room. I also bought an antique pedestal dining room table and chairs that seats twelve people. In fact, it was very hard finding a linen table cloth to cover this table. I have a beautiful antique china cabinet filled with antique china from China. We also have an heirloom grandfather clock from my in-laws here. Needless to say, I love my formal dining room. Then when I retired, we had nowhere to place all my boxes until I can sort through what I want to keep and what I want to throw away. Until I stay home long enough to sort and toss, the boxes will just hang out in my dining room aka storage room.

OMGoodness. Sounds like my entire house, LOL. I spent the weekend going through things in the "kids" room (which use to be my computer room) finding goodness knows how many clothes and toys that got left behind.
