No, I don’t think I am superstitious. I remember growing up hearing about different things I needed to do for good luck but I never really put much store in this. My mother used to say that things happened in threes and sometimes it does if we look hard enough. We eat turnip greens and pinto beans for New Years for good luck. I really don’t believe in that but why tempt fate if it really works. Plus my husband likes that food and I don’t have to worry about what to cook for dinner. I try to do things that I was told just because it is tradition but not because I worry about bad luck. I think I have too much faith in God to believe in superstitions.

I don't think I am too superstitious any more. When I was working I was more so.
