Blog Prompt: In what areas do you feel you have knowledge you can pass on to others?
I feel I have a lot of knowledge in the field of teaching. Now that I've retired, I've decided to be an educational consultant. Next week I will be doing a professional development seminar for the county literacy association. I was also asked by the school district to evaluate 3 new teachers so I'm excited about that. Plus tonight I had a parent of a former student call me and ask me for advice. I'm also writing a blog called Successful Teaching which gives strategies and ideas for teachers to use in their classroom. I hope I'm able to help someone out there who is new to teaching or frustrated with their current situation.

There is alot we can learn from you. I always enjoy reading about your teaching experiences as they have helped me to relate to the Princess' teachers. See you have already been passing knowledge on. I am really excited for you as a teaching consultant and doing seminars, too. How wonderful is that.
I feel it is so important to learn from the experience of others and you certainly have a lot of things to share. Good luck with all of it!
